The following request for information is from:

    Kathy Mayfield-Smith

    South Carolina Respite Coalition

Have managed care organizations contracted directly with your state’s respite coalition to develop educational materials, provide caregiver education, assist with provider recruitment, or any other services that would support respite and caregiver services?

Also, more broadly, as a Lifespan Respite grantee or state respite coalition, have you worked with managed care companies in your state to ensure respite and caregiver supports are included as benefits in contracts your state has developed, or is developing, for Medicaid managed care long-term services and supports?
